Math Nerds is operated by Nikunj Parikh and Hiral Parikh.
Current Math Nerds has around 115 students in total, excelling in math.
Hiral Parikh:
Students up to grade-4 learn from Hiral Parikh who is holding a Bachelor degree in Science. Hiral has been teaching math to these young kids since 2015.
Hiral provides more personalized tutoring in a pampered way to these kids in small batches of 2-3 students. She not only teaches math but also teaches them how to learn.
Nikunj Parikh:
Nikunj is holding a Master Degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT-Bombay. Nikunj worked for 15 years as a software engineer in some of the biggest IT consulting companies and in varied industries. He has been teaching math full time since 2015.
Students starting grade 5 always learn from Nikunj.
Nikunj has taught students from Peel Board, Toronto Board, York Board, Dufferin Board, Halton district school board, Thames valley disctrict school board, Bluewater district school board and students from almost every high school in Brampton. Nikunj regularly teaches students from IBT, Scitech and AP programs.
Nikunj has enhanced math students from California & Seattle and regular math students from Texas and Florida.
His past students have been accepted in various professional programs in the top Canadian universities including U Of T and University of Waterloo.

*Generally Nikunj doesn't teach IB students as the curriculum is really challenging for most of the students. However exception can be made for students with solid foundational knowledge. Tutoring will be only in one-on-one mode and minimum 2 hours/week will be required.

** Regular students from Harold and Braithwaite Secondary School are taught only in one-on-one mode.

*** Grade 12 AP students are taught only in one-on-one mode. We have to finish most of the Calculus during the grade-11 summer vacation to score well and for that 3 hours per week of tutoring will be requried during the vacation

- Most Grade-9 students struggle with Math - Why?
- The reason is that the Canadian curriculum is solidly focused on visual learning and word problems at the elementary and middle school level but lacks the complexity at a fundamental level. This creates a gap between grade-8 and grade-9.
- We fill this gap using our custom designed learning packages.

Extremely Focused Learning for High School Students
- We cover every concept of The Ontario curriculum of Academic math. The results of our past students speak for itself.
- Even though the tutoring programs have been designed for 2 hours/week and charged accordingly, High performance students may message their problems and doubts on any of the working days and they will be invited online (usually on the same day) to get the solution of their problems
- We do not charge anything extra for the time we spend for checking the homework, checking the tests or for providing occasional extra help to clear doubts.
